Yes, me again :)
So I left Bella for a week (while I was in holiday) with my Mum who does know the basics about piggys and looked after her well. So I came back today and her cage had lots of sort of soft and deformed poops. I’m sure this is because my mum gave her celery which gave her diarrhoea. So should I take her off veggies for 24 hours?image.webpso they are coming out like this,, they have a pretty much normal texture but are about half the size they should be

They look like the poos of a guinea pig that hasnt eaten much hay. I would stop veg and watch the hay intake for a day. But watch out for vit c lacking. The pointy tips of the poo look like a slower than normal moving gut

Thats just what it looks like to me. Its the same as some of my guinea pig poo when they havnt eaten as much hay from an illness. Obviously if your worried find a guinea pig vet if you can. But i would say this isnt a huge worry unless you pig stops pooing. Try giving a probiotic . Pets at home sell one called vetark its about £5.50. You mix the powder into water and syringe feed about 0.3ml at a time. Or fibreplex from a small animal vets its about £11 but its better stuff. Sais for rabbits on the tube, but uts fine for guinea pigs

Thank you, This is a very late post I was away and Bella had someone coming in to feed her last week. I was so worried about this I even wrote a guide that said to put hay and water everyday and an icepack a cool towel and an icy water bottle. When I came back yesterday , I looked in Bellas cage and the poops where normal dark brown nearly black colour. A question - does the colour of piggy poo change depending on what they eat? Thank you so much
