Only had piggies for almost a year since getting 3 at christmas for the kids (now have 13 of them, pigs not kids). Anyhow, they seem to be pooping a hell of a lot more now than they did during the summer. Also when I clean them out and go back about ten minutes later there is poo everywhere.

Is it just my clan that are poop machines, or everyones.

I tell them off and get looks like you wouldn't believe. I honestly think they don't care about all my hard poop cleaning work.

One of our girls Megan is a poo machine.... Honestly overnight she will fill the cage. Were I to get up late, I dread the day I open the living room door and poo would avalanche out on top of me, that's how much gets produced. We call her Meggy Moo but Toffeewoffee has adapted it to a more apt Meggy Poo.

I bet having 13 there is a staggering amount, you must have serious poo picking skillz

I clean on a morning before work and on a night, when I get it. The Henry makes it about a twenty minute job each time. Then of course when I go back and sort out Hay etc, there is poo in the cages again. After twenty minutes!! It's like they watch me walk away and then decide to crap everywhere to annoy me.

Guinea pigs need to constantly poop to ensure their guts are working. It is a sign you have healthy piggies.

Aw man. Feel guilty now.

:))

To be honest, I love seeing poo and worry if I don't. One of our girls is a bloaty piggie so I am somewhat poo obsessed, I can tell whose poo belongs to which pig...
That is a strange superpower to have, if only I could use it for the good of mankind....

I'm often grateful that it's my pigs that poo constantly, rather than my dogs...
