My guineas started a 7 day course of baytril yesterday for crusty eyes and sneezing and I've always given peppers, broccoli and sometimes spring greens and other things and they've never had a problem but I bought them a fresh corn on the cob yesterday and gave them it and noticed this morning all Nesta was eating was hay when she's usually the one eating all the veg and I just came back from work and noticed a few squishy poos and was wondering would the baytril have anything to do with it? Or would it be the corn? I noticed they had also drank more than usual yesterday too. Tomorrow should I give no veg and let them just eat hay to help their tummys?

Yes it is very likely it is the Baytril, did the vet not suggest a probiotic? There is a possibility of it being the corn too if they ate a lot and aren't used to it.

I use probiotic in the water and have sprinkled a bit over nuggets and hay too

It is not that effective in the water, it is better to syringe it. Are you leaving an hour after the Baytril?

I waited an hour yesterday before giving a bit veg with probiotic but they didn't eat much of it
