Now that the boar and sow babies are separated, I have noticed that the boy poops are skinny and long and banana shaped and the girls are like a grain of rice. Are the boy and girl poops always different like this? I guess the anatomy is different down there so it would make sense!

Yes, it always weirded me out too! Boys seem to have banana shaped poos, although my Iggy doesn't seem to? I wonder if it's only intact boars? Or maybe Iggy is an honorary woman :))

My late intact boar and the 3 sows I’ve got now had/have the same shaped poops, not banana shaped as you’ve described, but straight like rice.
Hope this helps x

I wonder if it's a young boar thing. My older boars are what I would call normal size shape but 8 month old Rusty and newbie 4 month old Caspian have long thin banana shape ones. Or maybe it's different pigs are just different, like humans?

Unless they are neutered I have always found boar poops to be a lot bigger and longer shaped than sow poops, I guess it must have something to do with hormones?
