I have two gpigs and this week I've noticed their poop seems lighter brown and drier than usual. These are mixed among darker, softer ones. They are all uniform shape. Is this a sign of something? They eat plenty of hay and have Burgess nuggets, but they haven't had veg in a few days. This morning I've put a bowl of water into supplement their bottle, to ensure they're drinking enough. Any thoughts gratefully received.

It looks pretty normal to me. My piggies poo is sometimes dry. I agree with what @Piggies&buns has said. Probably cause they haven’t had much watery veg. When my piggies are in their play pen I gave them water in a bowl, but they prefer it from the bottle. They do drink it, but drink more when they’re back in their cage

Thanks. A bottle seems to work better for my pair too, the water seems to go grubby very quickly when it's in the bowl, with nugget crumbs and stuff from them putting their little faces in it :-)

Yeah mine does too but I usually replace it if it gets bad
