Pooping And Peeing While Lab Time

my guinea pig keeps peeing and pooping on me during lap time. I kinda puts me off getting him out.
I don't know if this is medical or something else
any ideas?

Happens all the time with a couple of my piggys. I always have a blanket on my lap to help with any accidents.

Guinea pigs are not natural born cuddly toys; they are living animals, but they are usually very good to give you some kind of warning sign when they need to be, either by becoming wiggly, pulling on your cloth or tweaking you. Learn to observe what is your piggy's signal and put him back.
Use a fleece or towel for lap time anyway.

As guinea pigs have evolved to live off nutritionally rather poor food (80% of the daily food intake should be hay) and they need to process anything eaten twice, there are naturally lots of poos. Just collect them on the lap blanket and dispose of them afterwards.

Do you have a single piggy? In that case, it would really a good idea to give him a same gender companion for interaction, especially if you stop giving him the round the clock stimulation and interaction that he needs for the whole 4-7 years a healthy guinea pig lives. They are group animals and not wired to be on their own.
