Poor Barney Went Bounce

MrS and I were watching TV last night - the piggles hutch is behind us. We heard one of them drinking from the bottle which is in the upper level of the hutch. All of a sudden there was a really big thud. We looked round and Barney was sat at the bottom of the ramp looking all a bit stunned. All we can think of is that he fell down the hole. We aren't sure how he has managed to do that. It was not dark so he would have been able to see. Toby was in the bedroom - we wondered if either Toby was drinking and Barney tried to get passed behind him or Barney was drinking and Toby shoved him out of the way.

Luckily he was fine - a bit stunned but moving around fine and tucked into some romaine straightaway. The poor little bouncing boy!
 
Aww bless him. My piggy Tikka did that when she was first introduced to the ramp, her little face was priceless. She didn't hurt herself and the ramp now has sides.

i would have to box in the hole - not sure how to do that so I will just keep my fingers crossed that it was a one off!
 
Poor Barney!
Lily had a tunnel upstairs once, and she went in it and fell down the ramp hole, luckily she was ok. And she's had the practice because she is always jumping from great heights out of my arms anyway.
 
We just put a strip of beam along the side of the hole so the piggies cant slides off :)
