I was just looking around online at rescues and pets that were up for adoption when gumtree popped up. I clicked on the link. I only went on so I could feel sorry for all the animals on there when suddenly this popped up. I was furious! Look how sad the bunny is. It's staring out. There's a dog toy underneath the cage.
Which could show that a dog has been barking at the rabbit. I am so annoyed! How could someone do that to a rabbit? Look how small the cage is! Omg
 
It also has no hay or food or a companion. It's disgraceful!
 
I can't.. I just can't.. I really hope someone will take that poor bunny into a good home!

I was literally only able to look at that picture for a second, or I would actually cry!
 
It's heartbreaking isn't it! It's better to have animals as friends than humans sometimes! We have the knowledge to proof that animals need hay to eat so why don't people research before getting the animal?

I prefer animals to people to be honest.

And whoever owns that poor bunny makes me feel that even more. I'm just hoping someone nice comes long to take him/her from those disgusting conditions.

I wish I could save all the pets :(
 
I'm exactly the same abbie! I was just browsing online because hopefully, with a bit of persuasion, I may be able to get a bunny or two. This would be in a year or two though. If I could I would take tht bun on now...

I hope someone like you comes across that bunny and gives it a better home! I'm gunna sit and hope someone does!

I have 5 bunnies myself, so it would be impossible for me to take it, as much as I really want to! It's probably too far away even if I wanted too ugh!
 
Ik I feel so sorry for it! Do u have pigs too? Do they live near? What other pets do u have? X
 
It is very upsetting to see this, I do not understand people who don't give their animals the best life they can or mistreat them. Poor bunny.
 
It's so sad! Why don't people research the animal they want before they adopt it? Doesn't that make more sense? X
 
i just found this used cage someone is selling for £15 on gumtree too. It's disgusting the conditions some people keep pets in. This is a bloody prison cell! :rant:

Just want to mention that my friend has that cage for her pig and no matter how many times I tell her she will not upgrade! She Feeds her pigs unlimited museli, no hay, no veggies, no grass and they are kept alone in tiny cages. It's not right at all!
