Well if it wasnt bad enough loosing Angus on Friday, my week just got even worse. At 3am this morning I had to rush Clover, the little guinea pig I handreared up to the vets. She was in a lot of pain and looked very uncomfortable. Rob thinks it could be either menengitis or a spinal problem, either way it is not good. He gave her some better pain killers and antibiotics to keep her going. I took her back up there at 8.30am as they are going to give her some more pain killers and x-ray her to see what they can find. Please send lots of positive vibes her way as she is going to need it :'(

Awww poor you and poor piggie. I hope she will be ok and i hope she's not in to much discomfort. Hugs to you both.

So sorry to hear that Cheryl, not sure which one she is......but sending positive thoughts for Clover and you :) :)

I remember Clover - she is a special and beautiful girl.

All fingers and paws tightly crossed here.

fingers toes and everything else crossed for little Clover I lost my little girl Clara this morning and am hoping Clover pulls through for you, keep us updated

my crews are keeping their piggy feet crossed,it seems everyone is going thru bad times with their piggies right now :'(

Sending Reiki to yourself and Clover, hoping it at least helps in some small way.

After x-rays and a light anaesthetic they have found the bones in her neck are fused. It will have been like that since birth but only causing her problems now she is getting bigger. They are exploring other problems and treatment and I have to go and pick her up in a little while. I just want my little baby back home with me :-\

I bet you do ...

And when she comes home you can hold her and comfort her after her difficult day

Only just seen this Cheryl - poor you and poor Clover. Hope the vet can sort some treatment for her.

I hope you can get this little one to a point where she is comfortable enough to enjoy some quality of life. Poor baby...

Have you got a pic of her, while not essential, I will print it off and place it in my healing area...if you wish :)
