Sending gorgeous Miss Milly lots of healing vibes. Peanut sends his love too, he knows all about scratched eyes, he's had 4 now and recovered very quickly once we got the drops

All the best for her recovery! Thankfully minor eye injuries tend to heal very quickly, especially if you have them seen by a vet promptly.

You can also get plain artificial tear gel from a pharmacy (but you need to say that they are for yourself at night). Drops will also do the trick, but they are more difficult to apply and don't last as long. The gel will keep the eye hydrated and help with the healing process. You have to wait at least half an hour after applying the antibiotic eye drops to allow time for them to absorb fully. Give the tear gel 3 times daily if that is possible. that will hopefully help to speed up the recovery a little.

I would recommend to distract your little with a bowl of her favourite food facing away from you and then sneak the medication in from the dead angle on her back. Otherwise it is very much a two person job with a wiggly youngster. Use our piggy whispering tips to assert your authority; that ensures better cooperation.

Welcome to the forum.
Well done getting Milly seen so promptly.
I’ve had to do eye drops after a hay poke- it’s no fun but very effective.
She’s a really cutie

It's good that you have had her seen so quickly. Looking at what you've been prescribed I would imagine it's a fairly superficial scratch and hopefully it will heal very quickly
