Found an advert for someone selling 4 babies a girl and a boy
The poor boy is in a cage the same width as his body :(

He's being sold with the awful cage, I'm worried he'll go with that cage :(

Really tempted to take him I have a spare cage a bit smaller than the Xxl off zoo plus.

Or maybe a piggy train I something coul be organised I'm really worrying about this lot

You can see on the pic his cage is all damp :(

They are right by me literally around the corner I would have them all waiting for piggy bank etc but he wants money or them and I don't get paid until next week :(

I've contacted the seller, I will let you know what response I get.

If you find any ads like this in future you can alert the facebook group Rabbit and Guinea Pig Welfare Group Trying to Help gumtree/preloved Animals, the aim of this group is to contact the seller and convince them that using a rescue is a better way to re home their pet, giving friendly advice and hopefully educating the individual. :)

The Piggy Bank is to help promote rescues and help aid rescues, at present their are so many pigs in rescues that they are at saturation, we should all be concentrating our efforts in promoting the rescue pigs to free up space for those that need it.

It is hard to not rush in and help every pig we see on Gumtree and Preloved by offering to home and in some cases pay for that pig to get it out of the terrible living conditions, but this is only encouraging irresponsible pet ownership.

Join the facebook groups, spread the word about using rescues to friends family and jo bloggs on the corner and together we can move pigs out of rescues to good homes making space for ones that really need it! xoxo
 
I tried to join but it's a closed group and I have not been accepted. Seem to defeat the purpose of it tbh.
 
You could always try again? I don't know hwy you wouldn't be accepted.:( If you spot an advert your welcome to forward it to me and I'll reply to the seller and post it on the facebook page.

I've forward your details! The group is quite tight as it would need to be with what it is trying to achieve so its hard to identify people. If anyone has applied and not got a response please feel free to email me your facebook and forum name and I'll pass it on to the right person!
 
He hasnt replied :(

I told him I could take the boy and maybe help get the others to rescue I was thinking fresh fields I could easily get them there.

Havnt heard back though :(
 
He's replied not much info though. I've explained if he has not sexed those babies and split them at three weeks it's likely some are pregnant. I've told him to please take them to fresh feilds rescue.

I've emailed the rescue asking if he surrenders them are thu able to take them. Probably won't get a reply until tomorrow.

I've thought about it and decided not to take any myself , I can't risk the health of my current 6. :(

Once he is taken on he will need a lifetime of food, veg, hay , neuturing and he clearly needs a bigger cage, which I have.

I have 6 pigs currently and an older boy i can try to bond him with.you would be doing his little man a favour by allowing him to come to me.*

I live round the corner from you and can get him after 11.

I did I told you on sat. See below. You will be very lucky to find someone to pay for a 2 year old pig when there are lots of babies cheaper!
