My poor baby has been unwell with a suspected UTI. I couldn't believe how one day she was fine but by the evening she was just like a different GP! Just to say to people please, please don't delay getting your GP's to the vets Truffle was booked in the next morning and the vet was very good he examined her all over and said she was very tender around her bottom area and he trimmed all her fur and cleaned her up, gave her an injection and I'm now doing the dreaded syringing of antibiotics but also giving her undiluted cranberry juice twice a day (hope this is ok?).
she's so much better already much more mobile and eating better although her usual favourite foods i.e peppers she's not to keen on at the mo. Loving dandelions and grass and ate a piece of romaine this morning.:)
The funny thing is she's usual the more dominant one but Fudge (her sister) has had the total run of the place these last 3 days and has loved it although I can't see that happening much longer!

So glad she's on the mend I've been so worried about her but as I've said earlier please don't delay getting your GP to the vets!

xx

I'm glad your piggy is OK. Like you, I rushed mine to the vets recently and I'm so glad I did - he is back to his usual self now, but it really scared me how quickly he went downhill.

I noticed my baby piggie was coughing and sneezing a few days ago and got him booked at the vets for an hour later. My very nice vets squeezed us in. He has a URI. Poor baby Peanut! He is doing a lot better now. I got him to the vets last Monday, so about another week of meds. He is eating and acting like a normal piggie except for the sneezing. He misses his buddy, Latte, and Latte misses him too. Peanut is only 8 weeks old and I have had him for two weeks. Healing vibes for Truffle.

I've been worried all week and now if she's just sleeping I feel like I have to keep checking on her! My mum has even been popping in over the last couple of days to keep her fed on little bits of food! Healing vibes for your piggis as well I'm now off into the garden to do some grass gathering x
