So i cut Pinky's nails about 3 days ago, and I think he must have flinched and pulled a muscle in one of this back legs poor little thing. So he has a bit of a hobble at the moment.
I took him to the vets today as I noticed he was getting less and less active, and today has barely moved from his corner and hasn't eaten any pellets or drank what I can tell. He has eaten veg and hay.

So the vet was pretty sure he'd sprained his leg and gave him some metacam 0.4ml once a day for 6days. I thought after giving him some metacam he might try walking g around a bit more if he was in less pain... but he hasn't  has anyone else had any experience with this, and will the metacam take time to work? and do you think I should syringe him water if I haven't seen him drinking? Thanks- sorry about the multiple questions.

I would give the metacam some time to work yes and hopefully you'll find he tries to walk again. Are you sure he's not drinking? Of course you can syringe water (not too fast!) But I would just be sure he isn't drinking himself as syringe feeding him the metacam probably isn't enjoyable for him either. :)

Of course if you still don't see any changes I suggest another vet visit.

He's normally a frequent drinker and I hear him using the bottle a lot, but none at all since he's been poorly. I might try a tad of water today. Yesterday he got hold of the metacam syringe with his mouth and tossed it away! Thanks for your advice.

You could try rinsing his veg under water and feeding it wet. That can get more water into him.

Sometimes it can take a few days before they use their foot again.
