As if he hasn't had enough to put up with.

I cut two of his toe nails too short today and they bled. I have never done that before. I feel awful.

I'm sure he's fine! You probably feel worse than he does! I once cut a nail too short causing it to bleed! It wasn't one of my piggies though - it was a neighbours piggy! I felt really bad about it!

Anyway Rocky, tell mummy she has to get you a lovely present to say sorry! She didn't mean to do it. She loves you so much! :smitten:

I made Honey wheek in pain yesterday when i was trimming her nails and got worried so i ddint finish them off!

Lucinda they wiggle and squirm it makes it sooo hard to cut them, that's why i let the girls at the vets cut them for me :

Isn't it awful how bad you feel? When I first got mine, I trimmed my Snowy's (RIP) and made one bleed and boy did I panic! I had poor snowsnow on his back with his toe under the cold tap! I phoned my mum crying that I thought he was gonna bleed to death! Needless to say he recovered - I didn't - I am very cautious now and if a piggy doesn't want it done we wait another day!

It would of hurt.But i doubt rocky will keep a grudge against you for it. :p
My guinea pigs nails need cutting.I might try putting them on the garden path to wear them down and if it doesnt work very well i might take my 2 girls to the vets to have it done.I arent going to do it wrong and hurt them.I'd rather pay a few pound.
