Whilst at the vets yesterday with Sooty, there were 4 very hyperactive brothers asking if they can see our rabbit, we said we had guinea pigs, not rabbits. Oh, what is it called, Sooty we said. As they were looking at her, they suddenly shouted....................

It wasn't oh she's not black, it wasn't what's wrong with her, it was URRRRRRGH, ITS GOT RED EYES, YUCK! Poor Sooty, these boys nearly had red eyes scaring and being rood to her like that.
 
I don't see how people can dislike the red eyes! Yours has red eyes and some of mine, and they're all gorgeous piggies!

Thimble here, do you know what? People go uggh! You have something wrong with your hamster when my mummy takes me to the vets, and when i was shown to the extended family :( Do you know why? Cause i have one red eye and one black! Well i think I'm rather cool (and cute!), and mummy loves my precious ruby eye. So you should tell those horrible boys to ermm go away (or pee/poop on anyone who is meant to you!) i think your beautiful!xoxo

Horrible kids, poor Sooty, she's beautiful. I love red eyes, lots of my piggies have them.
 
this is patchy and nala :) we think you look soo cute and it doesnt matter that you have red eyes because it just gives you more character :)

Some people find red eyes disturbing - it's actually not uncommon. However, there is no excuse for being rude about someone else's pet. Sooty is beautiful, and the boys need to learn some manners.

Sooty says thank you to everyone for their support, she reckons their mum needs to learn some manners as well, she was letting her boys run wild - she had no control at all over them.

Thimble you are very unique and cool with your eyes, you are beautiful too. I love the name.

Patch and Nala, you look great, even have the same hair do, :)).

I wonder what puts people of with red eyes, it's never bothered me and until I joined here, I never new the fear existed. 3 of mine have red eyes and the other three have dark ones.

PS she has black back feet and legs, hence Sooty, it looks like she walked through some and had a sniff on the way. :(|)

You're very beautiful Sooty they're just jealous they don't have rose coloured eyes too!
 
Hector the guinea pig says you are very beautiful Sooty! He has red eyes and is proud of them! Both Hazel and his owner love them,so those boys were talking rubbish!

Thanks everyone, Sooty feels loads better for the love she has received :)), I adore all the pigtures, I've been really touched by how nice everyone is. :)

Aw, Sooty, now listen to us on here...
Blue eyes, green eyes, red eyes whatever - all piggies are gorgeous and loved no matter what.
Those nasty boys will have red eyes if I see them, I'll poke them hard and tell them not to mess with Sooty's fan club :(|);)
