Poor Toffee's Nizoral Bath

Thought i would share a pic i took yesterday whilst Toffee was having her Nizoral Bath, poor little girl, she was very well behaved, took her Baytril with no problems, i was the problem as i was shaking so much lol!

Here she is whilst the shampoo was being left on for a few mins, i had to put a non slip mat under her as she kept trying to shake and kept slipping over on the bottom of the bath bless her

You can make out a small bit of her bald patch on her back.

Sorry i dont know how to rotate it!

Wow, that is a skill you have there, a mid air shaking shot! What a gorgeous girly she is!

lol.... thank you :)

She was not at all impressed at the bath .... and is soooo fast I couldnt photo her in the bath :)) She's my little rocket :))

PS My Toffees getting over a fungal infection at the moment and her hair is regrowing .... but her bald patch was on her back too :))

Weird! Can i ask what you have been putting on it to clear it up?

Mine is currently on Baytril for an ear infection and other than the nizoral bath i have been putting tea tream cream on it (one for small animals) I was advised to put some sudacream on it but the only tub i have is a year out of date, so i will have to get some more at the weekend, it is growing back already, the vet pulled all of the loose fur out which is why it looks awful.
 
She had it earlier in the year too when she had as lot of dental work done. Then I used imaverol baths and cleaned the cage with imaverol too.

This time I used daktarin initially but it was drying up the skin on my skinny pig who also had it too much. I changed to gorgeous guineas kwench and it cleared up really well. The hairs almost fully grown now.

Hope your Toffees clears up soon - what does she look like dry - photos ? I looooove ginger piggies :))

I seriously said WOW out loud when I saw that first photo of Toffee - she is stunning drool .... such a deep ginger shiny coat x) x) x)

Lilly and Minnie are gorgeous too ... a trio of little cutie pies :))

My Toffee also lives with another couple of piggies..... lol..... tricolours....

Oh yes so she is ..... very strange run of similarities in our groups :)) Honey looks lovely :)

I have 5 other piggies who live separately..... mostly black, black/tan and a skinny.

If i could choose, my next piggies would be all black or chocolate brown, but so long as they are healthy i dont care. I too LOVE ginger pigs, took me forever to find Toffee, she was already named and wanted before she was born he he!
 
My first piggy I bought (I didnt even know rescues existed thern).... she was my skinny pig and she came with a free friend called Fluffy Pig ..I had no idea what she looked like until she arrived...... Fluffy pig is all black and was renamed Ebony .... then out popped 3 babies .... yep she was pregnant when I got her so 3 dark babies emerged... 1 almost all black, 1 black with a tan stripe and 1 brown with a tan blaze.... so I didnt really get much say in the colours but think theyre all fab :)) The babies were all girls so I kept them all...

Toffee, Cookie and Candy came from PAH adoption so no colour choice there either but Toffee really caught my eye :))

I wrap Dindy in a towel for a few minutes when she has her Nyzoral bath so that she doesn't get cold and shiver. It also stops her from wandering off and splattering everything around her.

Bless her she looks so adorable, thanks dindy pig, good idea, though it was roasting in the bathroom lol!
