We need more details. How has their behaviour changed? Are they keeping to their hides a lot? Are they still eating, pooing and urinating as usual? Have they gone off their veg or hay? So they seem to lack energy? Etc.

Hi!

Without any background information as to what exactly is wrong and what treatment has been received, we can unfortunately not comment or help you in any way.

Please contact the treating vet and ask for their advice; whether you need another appointment, whether you can use existing medication or whether you need a new prescription/pick up more medication.

Please keep in mind that we jump between lots of different threads from all sorts of different people every single day and that not everybody on the team is always seeing all threads. We are doing this for free in our own free time - and most of us (including me) still have a job as a key worker, work from home or have family to look after (or any combination thereof) on top of our own guinea pigs!

I completely understand I’m a key worker as well as having to nebulise my guinea pigs every 4 hours

They’ve just become very sluggish not moving a lot and not eating as much and there on antifungal and one is on steroids it’s just annoying how another has got it now

Thinking you and your gorgeous piggies at this worrying time. I’ve no experience, so can’t help. I hope they get better soon

Thank you I appreciate it I just hope we’ve caught it early enough for the second one, the other is getting so much better and it’s just annoying another has it
