Poorly Glinda :(

My poorly little pig, Glinda is in need of some sympathy and well wishes!

We've just got back from the vets and she has cystitis she was so good, bless her, despite the hot weather and some painful prodding and poking! She even managed to provide Simon with an abundance of poo-samples and a weewee demonstration! rolleyes

She now joins the poorly-pig club and is on antibiotics and painkillers. Fingers crossed that the medicine and some adjustments to her diet will keep the dreaded x ray and operation at bay!

Poor girl! The big temperature changes of the last couple of weeks are an ideal trigger for UTIs - normally we get a spate of them in spring and in autumn when the difference between day and night time temperatures is biggest. Some piggies are more sensitive than others.

I hope that she will feel better soon!
