hello ive been out to in the garden to see my piggys and one of them morris isnt too well but not quite sure what is wrong with him when i pick him up he really squeaks like he is in pain ive also notice he isnt standing up when in the hutch he just lays down with his head against the back of the hutch like he doesnt want to know anybody he is still eating but only if i put food next to him he wont get up and walk to the food just wandered if anyone else has had a guinea pig do this? it really isnt like him as he is normally so happy and soon as i open the hutch door he normally comes straight up to see me so I'm worried about him now :(

Has he eaten something that could be poisonous, eg evergreen, or flowers that grow from a bulb. It doesn't sound good to me I think you should phone and see a vet asap. Good luck, hope he feels better soon.:(

I would strongly advise you to take your pig to a vet as soon as you possibly can. Please do not wait and see how he is later, piggies hide illnesses very well and if they are showing symptoms then it means they are really poorly. Fast action can make all the difference in the world to the outcome.

What will the vet do across the street it's very unlikely she'll have any medication or equipment to treat Guinea Pig?

You have been strongly advised by experienced members to go to the Vet now they do not say this lightly, it could very much be the difference between life or death for your piggy!
