This morning, we had to put Rocky to sleep. He suffered GI statis Wednesday last week and we can't cure him from that. (Refer to this Rocky's GI Statis) We did everything we could to clear out the blockages in his guts but it just wasn't working. He has been suffering from jaw abscess since March but the GI statis was a nasty side effect of having the antibiotics for so long.

We are so heartbroken. 💔 We only had Rocky for 2 years (we think he is around 3 years old). He was our chunky little fat fat boy because he loved eating. He even trained us to give him the bowl of pellets under their chair by biting the sides of the chair so he won't have to walk around. We are going to miss him terribly. It's another big piece of my heart gone. #RIPRocky #GoneTooSoon

I'm so sorry to read this, I've been following your thread keeping my fingers crossed for you, you certainly gave him all the love and care you possibly could, he was lucky to have you as his slaves. Look after yourselves and take comfort in that he knew he was loved. Xx

So sorry to hear this. I've been keeping up with your thread about Rocky's health issues. You truly did everything you could. I can tell he was loved so much. You gave him an excellent home and he was lucky to have you.
 
So sad to hear this. Having followed what you've been through recently, I'm in awe of what you've done for Rocky. He was obviously very much loved x
 
Got lots tears guys. I love Rocky stories and he was and always be a star.

I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful chunky monkey. It doesn’t matter how long you live, it matters how you lived. He had a wonderful spoilt life with you both and his girls. Take care all of you. ❤️

I am so sorry that Rocky hasn't made it. He will always have a special place in your heart. You have fought for him so hard and have nothing to feel bad about but the inevitable regret about losing such a big battle as you have fought.

Rocky couldn't have found a more loving and determined owner going the extra hundreds of miles (literally) for him to buy him more time than he would have had with anybody else.
It was lovely to meet you in the Cat&Rabbit parking lot in April when you were there with Rocky!
