look at my little sweethearts! They love their new cage. I guess it's not a cage, really... more permanent floortime. It was completely free too. I had everything at home already. Dropcloth on the floor topped with towels and fleece. They love snuggling by the heater! The ottomans which blocks of one side are perfect for relaxed piggy watching :)

That was fabulous that set up looks like a complete hit I love seeing the wee one zooming through the tunnel :(|)

The cream and white is my youngest, Chicken. She LOVES to run! I'm so glad I came up with this idea. Even if they had floortime every day it's different now when she can run whenever she feels like it!

Two sides are walls, three quarters of one side are two ottomans and the last quarter and the last side is a metal hamster run. It fits behind the heater and also quite a bit parallell to the ottomans so that it's securely in place. I guess you can't really see it in the video.

What a wonderful video..Made me smile to see the little piggie sprinting through the tunnels..

So cute! I love your cardboard tunnels, they look like lots of fun - I quite like the brown guinea just pootling around!

I know am I am sounding like a worrying mum but i hope the radiator is not on whilst they are there! Other than that looks like a great setup very lucky pigs!

Why couldn't it be on? It's a water filled heater and does not burn when you touch it. It's not hotter than a snugglesafe and there's no electricity in it to harm them.

Could it be bad that it heats up the air and makes it dryer?

I can't see the video, just a white box with a teeny-tiny graphic in the corner, and I love a popcorning piggie 8...:08...

YIPPEE! The link worked, thank you so much for putting it up for me. My tears have all dried up now :(|):(|):(|). That is a fantastic video, I love seeing them so happy x)

I keep re watching this it's fantastic it's been so long since I last saw wee piggies having fun, thank you hun for sharing.:(|)

Thank you!

Yeah, they are having fun. This seals the deal, they are not going back in their regular cage again, except for when I have over night guests (it's in the guestroom and the ottomans convert to beds -genious!).

If photobucket (or rather my mobile connection) wasn't so heartbreakingly slow I could upload more videos. This one took about an hour to upload...

If you do manage to get anymore uploaded I'd love to see them :(|)

Ok, another one! But very little popcorn here, just mad running!

Martha is STILL eating. Nothing will stir her (except sounds/movements that MIGHT mean something edible!)

I am loving the energetic piggies.

I love your setup. They're so insanely lucky. My boys would be jealous :(|)

Oh, happy piggies! Fabuolous setup - love the cardboard tunnels, what did you use to make them?

The tunnels are cardboard pipes meant for casting concrete in, sawed in half. They cost like £ 3 for a metre which makes heaps of tunnels! One of the advantages is that they stack so they take very little space when stored.

I don't know why I didn't think of this idea before. So cheap and doable -if you have a spare corner... Also, this bigger "cage" wont't take any extra space when packed up. Excellent! Now I'll definitely be able to get them a new friend for Christmas - if there's a good match at the rescue.

Gosh, they are adorable and so happy! Chicken is so fast! How old is she? Is the other one running around pregnant, such a fat little belly. :) They are so cute! I want more videos! :)

Chicken is approx. a year and a half. She was a reptile fair rescue and the rescue lady estimated her birthdate.

The red roan, Bo, is a neutered male... So hopefully he is not pregnant or I will have to sex the others again rolleyes But I agree about the belly! He is a fat little one, but it's all hay and veggies... They only get a little oxbow pellets for a treat each day.
