Should I feed my guinea pig popcorn (in small amounts)? My friend feeds it to his mouse and I wanted to check if it was O.K.

Thx O0

Hello and welcome to the forum from us in OZ :)

I wouldn't as it has a high salt content :-\ :-\
Do a search and you'll find all the foods that you can and can't give to your piggie O0

Tell us more about your piggie :)

Hi & Welcome :)

I wouldn't give popcorn either, salted or unsalted.

If you want to try your piggies with corn, give them fresh corn on the cob complete with leaves & silks - mine love it :)

Hey :)

No, I wouldn't feed it - popcorn isn't healthy and there is loooooads of veggies they can eat so there is no point really O0

I wouldn't either. I follow the rule that if they don't have it in the wild then they don't have it at all. :)

So veggies, fruit, hay and some dried food is all they need. You could give them treats with the fruit now and again Mine love tomatoes but as they can cause sores in the mouth I limit them! :D

No, just fruit, veg, hay and dry food is what they love best.

For more advice go to the shopping list :)
