Hello all

Just felt like posting an update on my two boys who are now just over 4 months old

Weighed them today, both 900g (just over, but I don’t have digital scales)

Am I right in thinking they’re going to get even bigger as they’re this size already and only 4 months? The pigs I had before were around 850-900g fully grown, if I recall.

They’ve been popcorning all over the place when they see us, coming up for chin rubs and letting us put our hands in to stroke them and scratch behind their ears without running away 👍🏻 - the purring comes in when getting “scratchy ears”. Especially Waffle (the teddy). Muesli (abby) prefers the chin rubs.

Picture shows Waffle with his dad and Muesli asking for chin rubs from his mum

Aww what cuties!:love: My Betsy and Christian are the ones for chin rubs, Dennis, Meg and Velvet have a take it or leave it attitude where chin rubs are concerned!

They sound like very happy and very loved piggies indeed.
Weight wise every pig is different.
I have 5 (although only 4 are adults) and they weights range from 1000 grams to 1350 grams.
They are all healthy, very active, have large cages, and a balanced diet.

hahaha great photo's...
I would say their weights will indeed be heavier than your previous pigs, I think sometimes their breed can also impact on their weight, I do find the teddies & abbys are slightly heavier than other breeds, but still as cute as all the other piggies naturally.
