Popcorning!

Lottie and Bonnie popcorn a lot and we could watch them for hours when they start it-its a joy to see them so happy.|)

We've noticed though that when Bonnie goes up to Lottie-especially if they are having a hay munching session, Lottie will have a 'peck' at Bonnie to tell her to go away-she goes away but popcorns too!
Is it because they are babies so they are just very playful or can popcorning also mean annoyance?

Out of my 7 piggies I only ever see one popcorn.

I don't believe it is an age thing as my Genghis (3 year old) popcorns all the time. He doesn't really need a reason.

Yes Lottie does do it when she has made her sister go away but I was wondering why Bonnie does it when she has been told to go away :{

Red does it when I blow on his head; I don't think it is always because he is happy for a game. Sometimes it looks like a reflex to me, a reflex to having certain hairs touched or blown on. And then again sometimes it looks like he is just happy to play, and he zooms around the cage too.

Hi, i think its possibly because lottie is everso slightly boss, but bonnie accepts that and that is why she popcorns, she is not scared of lottie but is saying to her " I,m okay with it, i can still eat later," as other piggy lovers have pointed out not all piggies do it, so as long as your ladies get along ~ no problem, i love to see piggies popcorn soooo cute.
