Popcorning?

I've never seen my guinea-pigs popcorn, I think they are quite happy because they have everything they need, but I think because they live outside I've never seen them popcorn. I've noticed recently when I go to see them, Marmalade and Edie both jump a little bit and twitch, a bit like shivering whilst they jump. At first I thought there was something wrong with them, but I noticed today Marmalade only did it when I put new hay in, so I thought she could be popcorning? Does this mean they are really happy?

Mine do that! (with hay) it certainly sounds like popcorning, its sad you haven't got to see it more often because it is very funny! My younger one tends to do it more than my older male - i'd call it more 'dancing' when he does it!

It sounds like popcorning but you can always youtube videos to compare it to.

Mine popcorn when they get their veggies or evening hay!

Sounds like little mini popcorns. I might see if i can get a video together of my little Merlin. He does this a little bit and then goes into full on racing around popcorning.
