Do all piggies popcorn? Or is it only when they are happy? I only ask as mine don't seem to do it

its mainly younger piggies that do.

1 out of my 5 popcorns like crazy , 1 of the others does it rarely and the other three I have never seen do it

Have you tried giving them a lot of space or a big pile of hay? That makes mine so happy.

Chalky is only 14 weeks now! He's still quite shy, and jasmine I've only has two weeks! It just made me think that if they dont do it are they really happy! I do all I can for them, and can't think of anything I don't do! :{

Sometimes it just takes a little time before they feel safe enoigh to pcorn. My smores just now started pcorning and ive had them almost two months now

I'm hoping that they are settling in and happy! Chalky weaked for the first time the other day as I went to feed him some greens! It was magic! Nothing like that sound! I was over the moon!xx>>>

Sometimes it takes some time for them to be happy in their new home. Give it some time. Lots of space does help. And all my piggies see to go mental for some carpet... popcorn like crazy on it. Younger pigs will popcorn more. But ive got a 5 and a half year old and he still does occationally.

I find it depends on the piggies character. Pumpkin (RIP) used to popcorn quite regularly until she passed away at 5 years old. Sherbert who is 2 1/2 used to popcorn constantly until Pumpkin passed away, she still does now but no where near as much. My 10 month old girl Rio popcorns loads, especially when its hay time. Once she got so excited she popcorned right into the bag of hay. But I've got a 3 year old girl, Sookie, who has only popcorned about twice in her life (she's a lazy, grumpy killjoy :)))
