Poppy and Peggy one year ago today.......

I live in Scampton village, famous for the Dambust
I went to get Holly from Barnsley animal rescue shelter. The lady who was fostering Holly happened to tell me that two other sows had been brought in recently and she said as I was initially looking for a pair would I like to see them. Of course, I couldn't help myself! Poppy and Peggy looked out from their hutch at me and I just fell in love with them. I knew if I left them I would be thinking about them all the way home. Poppy and Peggy had been neglected and poor Poppy had an eye poke injury and Bumblefoot, they were so very scared and nervous.
I took them along with Holly, driving home I was wondering what my OH would say when I had now got three more piggies instead of one. I originally wanted two so really it was only one more.

They really are beautiful girls. Peggy has so much character and Poppy is just so very sweet. x)

And, I just have to say as well...I love all the PINK!
 
They love pink too :) My OH is going to build them a new enclosure in the new year. At the moment they have the run and their bedroom, but as they live inside we can do away with the bedroom and just have an enclosure which we can make bigger and hopefully more squarer. Then they can have some more toys. I have seen some nice lilac vetbed which I will probably get :)
 
More beautiful piggies - aw so sweet. I love Peggy's little face - makes me want to give her a big cuddle.xoxo
 
They are such lovely girls (and great pics!) - no wonder that you couldn't resist them!

And you have certainly taken good care of them since; all your girls are looking so happy now!
 
They are gorgeous. Love the pink bedding. Very suitable for such pretty ladies!
