Poppy is squeaking while toileting

I noticed earlier a squeaking sound coming from the girls cage.Ive heard it the last few days but always assumed it was one of the girls being submissive.When I heard it earlier I looked into the cage and saw poppy being very still and lifting her bum so she'll be seeing a vet tomorrow.Unfortunatly I'm working a 12 hour shift so will have to ask my friend to take her.

Is it definitly when shes urinating and not pooing? Dots was when she was pooing, she would stick her bum in the air and sit like it for quite a while, my vet has finally found out what the problem is with Dot now

I'm not really sure but I think it's when she's weeing.

My Rupert did the same when had his UTIs and stone issues, would lift his bum when peeing and gave that uncomfortable/pain look bless him.

I phoned my friend on my break to find out what the vet said and he told me she's got cystitis and is on antibiotics and metacam so I'll start with those when I get home.

Glad its nothing too serious. If I'm thinking correctly, cystitis is bacterial and clears up with meds, but intertestial cystitis is non bacterial and has to go in it own time, which can be life long. I know you know, just seeing if I'm right
