Poppy the Sponsor bunny

I am sad to report that Poppy, one of our Sponsor bunnies, had to be put to sleep following investigative surgery for a lump on her jaw. She had had the lump for some time but it grew larger and was stopping her from eating. The vet operated to see if he could sort the lump but while she was under anaesthetic he found a massive tumour in her jaw, going right up to her brain and sadly there was nothing to be done for her.

Poppy had a lovely life with Teresa and her husband Randolph and will be sadly missed.

Anyone that has sponsored Poppy will be offered the choice to transfer their remaining sponsorship to another animal on the scheme.

Thanks everyone. Val, Teresa has said that Randolph is doing just fine after the loss of Poppy, she has considered finding him a friend but at the moment he is happy enough by himself (and indoors with the family a lot of the time!).
