Poppy came in around May 2009 pregnant along with Daisy. She delivered two beautiful babies one of whom survived and still lives with Teresa J.

She was a real character

Poppy was one of our Sponsor piggies

She recently has a lumpectomy to remove a growth on her back which was successful but we had a battle keeping weight on her. Although happy and active she was not quite right. She was medicated and not in pain and passed in her sleep last night.

You will be greatly missed in the shed Poppy with your cheeky smile and I hope Daisy will not be too sad with Charlie to keep her company.

I am so sorry to hear that Poppy has passed away! Thanks to your loving care, Vikki, she has been able to enjoy some truly golden years with her friend Daisy and later with a husboar Charlie, too.

It has been a privilege to sponsor her in memory of my lovely Dizzy (RIP July 2009), who used to live with a satin companion before she came to me. I will miss hearing from Poppy!
