Hi guys. Just bought a portable aircon for my piggies during heatwave... i am not sure if anybody has an answer to this, is 65db too loud for them? To me it feels too loud so i am just worried about them getting stressed from it.
Thanks in advance!

Do they look like they are stressed from it?
My guess would be that anything new that they aren’t used to, then they are going to be very wary of it to begin with but will get used to it. if they still behave as normal then they are most likely ok.

They did.... to be fair i was as well 🤣🤣🤣 to me it was too loud. But i am getting desperate as apparently this summer UK can hit 40....

I think it's worth persevering as the only way to control the temperature is to use air con. My flat was at 30C in London, despite all my efforts to keep it cool, sheets on the windows, fan, dehumidifier, ice bottles, cool pods. Poor Truffle was lying on top of his ice pod and fleece at one stage. The heat doesn't bother me, but the piggies are very vulnerable to it, so if you have air con, hang on to it, it's gold.

I would agree - use it and see if they get used to it.
If this summer is going to be a hot one (I hadn’t heard that but did a google search when I read your post and did see they think it’s going to be hotter than normal) then keeping them cool and safe will be a priority

Thank you so much :)
