Oh my, just when did hay become so posh? I can remember the days when there was just HAY, and now I have found Timothy hay, cammomile herbage, fresh forage, herbage of timothy hay with dandelion and marigold etc etc! And don't get me started on the variety of nuggets, herbs and treats that you can buy...I think my new piggies are going to be eating a more expensive diet than me...or maybe I should just share it with them? lol
 
Don't worry, mine just get hay, usually spare bits from my horse's bale!

I was in Asda a few weeks back, had carrots, apples, green beans, greens, celery, cucumber, and parsley. The lady on the till said 'ooh what a healthy woman you are!'

I blushed a bit and scurried off...felt bad that NONE of it was for me!
 
It's fruit, veg and herbs day tomorrow...at least I won't be in for any surprises there!
I think the chocolate muffins that will probably be in my basket might just tell the cashier than I am not a healthy eater! :)
 
Ha ha there are quite a few hay addicts here!

Charlie & Marv are bedded on hay from a horsey place and get oat hay and timothy hay every day to eat. They like both but manage the timothy stuff better. But I say get yourself a set of hay samples and have fun trying them on different types.

Animal Magic pet supplies and the hay experts (both online) do sets of sample packs.

Well we have Timothy hay and Timothy hay with marigold and dandelion here for the boys...how flippin posh! lol
 
were using timothy hay right now for the piggies...while hubby and i have cheap dinnersrolleyes
