Hey guys, my baby rolo has been on 3 courses of antibiotics now for a possible URI but nothing is changing he is still snotty and sneezing etc.
Does anyone recommend any places to get good quality hay that is as dust free as Possible? Or any other tips etc are welcomed.

Thanks

I used to have a sneezing pig. Not snotty, but he sneezed a lot. He went through a few rounds of antibiotics and didn't respond. I switched to fleece. I changed from store bought hay to Small pet select, which has almost no dust. I also made sure there were no air irritants like air fresheners or fabric softener used in or near their room. Now the only time he sneezes is on cage cleaning day when I brush the fleece before washing it. Or when he eats too fast lol. Hope you baby feels better!

Thanks guys!
The last bale I bought from pets at home was horrible, the hay was in such small pieces and they weren't enjoying it. Currently using one from the range which is nice and soft but it even makes me sneeze! Might try Burgess, they are on Burgess food. Has anyone bought from dustfreehay.co.uk? I'm thinking of buying some of the English Timothy bales.
Cheers:luv:

@Chocolatepiggy If there is still snot then the URI hasn't gone yet. What antibiotics have you had? You may need to try something else.
He has had 2 courses of baytril and is currently on septrin but think I used the last of it tonight. His nose doesn't seem as snotty today though. If it's still bad over the weekend I will take him to vets on monday
