Katy Felix
Junior Guinea Pig
I have noticed that Cocoa has a small light-brown spot on his head. It is smooth, and has no hair on it but it's in the middle of a "rosette" that Abysinians have, and all his rosettes are like that so i don't think the hairlessness is a worry. It is warmer weather here, but not humid. He has been scratching a little more, but not where the patch is, just on his feet and sides where he always does. He also needs a bath soon, and a trim, so that might be why he's scratching. I read that fungal infections and ringworm give little bumps or scabs, but his little patch is smooth. I couldn't get a pic, but it's right on the top of his head and very small, maybe 2-3 millimetres total. If it is an infection, how much would treatment cost..? I am a little strapped for cash, we already payed almost 300$ for his baytril last month.
