So, I always have a box of xeno 450 Invermectin handy ever since I adopted Gilly and he had mange mites.

Alvin has been trying to nip people if they stroke him. He does not do it all the time, mainly if I look through his coat (as I do all of them each month). He has NO dandruff, NO sores, NO bald patches and no other signs of mites.

I am treating him and Theo just incase, but I'm really not sure if he has mites or not. Theo is not trying to nip me when I look through his coat.. and I would assume Theo would have mites aswell.. being Alvin's hutch mate.

I've checked through Gilly and Leo's coats and they didn't mind at all.

Very interesting indeed @)

My piggy has recently had ear mites but her signs were obvious as she was scratching a lot and had ear wax. i would assume that all piggies are different and that it could just be Alvin doesn't like you looking through his coat where as your other piggies are fine with it? we worry so much dont we! has Alvin always been like this when he has his coat checked, or is it just recently? hope some more experienced people can get back to you x
