He's crawling and very fast breathing. I dont know how the fungus spread so fast from yesterday. I hope he's okay. Sick of these tears I'm a grown man for gosh's sake

My OH cries over our pigs too. I hope you get some help. He may need a diuretic if he has developed any fluid on his chest.

Pneumonia
going to fight for him as much as possible. But he isn't well. I don't think he's really consciously there

he's at peace now, love you beautiful boy. Thanks for all your help with everything. I truly appreciate it

Not nice at all. So sorry. I lost my star to pneumonia last week, the kindest thing I could do was to help her reach the bridge. Not a nice decision, but the kindest x

Piggies are so fragile, I'm so sorry for your loss. Hows Ludo holding up?
There are lots of resources here if you need them. I felt they were helpful.

Looking After A Bereaved Guinea Pig
He seems fine to be honest. He'll be inside with us in a cage for awhile. He'll be with me most of the time as I dont want him to be lonely. I'll try and get another one so he doesnt get depressed. Thanks for the info i'll check it out <3

Update: Ludo is sneezing again. Been diagnosed with rhinitis. Not causing him anything bad. Not sure what rhinitis is, Will have to do some research (on sultafrim not sure how to spell it)

Is it possible that this rhinitis is chronic? No medicines seem to be helping. He's no worse in himself and he's eating like a pig. we've tried tons of different medicines. Ruled out allergy to hay/woodchippings by changed him to paper

Allergies to hay possibly? I've read on other forums where pigs have had to eat other types of grass hey or cuts due to allergies. Maybe try orchard grass hay

Update again: We're going to see a guinea pig specialist. 2 months of whatever is wrong with him. I'm beginning to think allergies or something. hayfever maybe
