Poppy is going to the vets tomorrow as she has blood in her urine. It mostly looks clear, but when I use a urine test strip there is a small amount of blood in it. She also looks a bit uncomfortable when going to the toilet and is urinating more frequently. She has a Candida overgrowth in her gut and because of this her stomach is very sensitive. She cannot tolerate anything new and her diet consists of timothy hay, meadow hay and Oxbow Support tablets. I'm not able to give her veg, fruit or grass as it makes her ill. Last May, I tried her on Itrafungol but I had to stop giving it to her after 5 days, as it made her very ill and she was barely eating. Whenever I try her on something new, she becomes subdued and her poos become deformed (even when it's a very tiny amount). I'm worried about how the vet is going to treat her, as she won't be able to take medication. Will she need to be injected with the medicine? Any advice, will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I guess that your vet has to treat by injection if she is not able to tolerate oral medication. I am very sorry; are you support syringe feeding?

I have been weighing her daily and her weight is stable so I haven't started syringe feeding her. I'm also not sure if she would be able to tolerate Critical Care, as it will probably affect her stomach. She is very well in herself at the moment and eating normally.
