Possibly Ate A Metal Stopper Ball From Water Bottle?

My guinea may have eaten not one.. but TWO metal balls. The two little metal stopper balls that are in the water bottle. I can't find the balls anywhere... I checked the carpet, cleaned his entire cage, and NOTHING.

I really think he ate them. It's either that or the boogie man grabbed them at night.

What to do? Wouldn't those be too big to pass? He is acting normal, eating like normal, drinking like normal, and pooping like normal (for now).

If it were me I would pop him along to the vet and request a quick x-ray.
This will let you know for sure if he did indeed swallow them, and if so it will confirm where they are in his system, and what (if anything) needs to be done.

Have you checked the ball is not stuck up the spout? Unscrew the top and push a cotton bud down the spout. My girls have sometimes punched the ball so hard with their tongue the ball gets stuck further up. X

Keep an eye on him and take him to the vet asap if there are sudden problems in the coming two days.
A blockage results in major loss of appetite and great discomfort/hunching over; you cannot miss that.
