Possibly rehoming a new piggle.......

My sister in law mentioned months and months ago that there was a sow being advertised on her market place at work, i hummed and harred then and forgot about it, i saw her last week and she mentioned it was still on there!

Now i don't have a market place so i am not sure how it works, weather you have to renew the ad's weekly, monthly or never so it could just be a really really old ad.... (maybe someone could tell me? ) But i just text SIL to ask her for the details.

It could be that it is an old ad, or it could be that the little girl is still looking for a home, if she is, i will take her and try to bond her with my 3, if it doesn't work out, i will try to re home her myself or take her to a rescue. Sadly i don't have the space for 2 cages otherwise i would keep her and get her a friend (if it didn't work out with the 3 i have)

So watch this space :))

I am trying not to get too excited incase she has already been re-homed or it doesn't work out, but i am sure you all know, not getting excited over a potential new furry is quite hard.
 
If you manage to get her, please post some pigtures for me to drool over! I really hope you get her as then we can be sure she went to a good home!

She is 3 - 4 months old, was a surprise birth, living with her mum and auntie and they dont have the space for her. Spoke to OH, he is reluctant being as she is with other piggies and not on her own as we thought :(
 
He has now said we'll talk about it tonight..... cross your fingers people :))
 
Isn't she just? One of my colleagues' mum has guinea pigs otherwise and i have spoken to him about it, there are also local members on here, one of which i have sent a message to, but the poor girl has been advertised for ages. xx

I hope your OH will let you have her. Show him the picture, that will melt away any thought of refusing!

She is even prettier in real life.... :))

I have got some pictures but i can't uplaod them as i am on a really old work computer lol.

It may mean we collected her last night...... :))

She will get spoilt, she is going on holiday next week..... we are off to the caravan for a week next friday.
 
Well we picked daisy before we even decided we were going to have her (or rather before the OH decided :)) ) But it doesn't really seem to fit.... so were thinking of other names, poppy, jessie, maisie, lilo, boo, casie, so were not really stuck for idea's its just finding the right one for her, poor little thing, i feel awful, but we are calling her daisy at the moment until we decide either way.

Yes, we usually end up taking more for the pigs than we do for ourselves ha ha, we have a cage there and dry food and hay, but fresh food, treats and favorite toys usually takes up most of the room in the car, not to mention the bigger carrier we are going to need to buy now..... not that i am having much luck finding one.
