After a neutering operation does it have to be a full 6 weeks wait? Only Snowy's 6 weeks is up tomorrow but my partner is working tonight and I find it easier to bond piggies when he isn't around.

So could I Bond them tonight or does it really have to be 6 weeks to the exact date?

My male pig went with my girls after about 4 weeks, I didn't know that you had to wait 6 until a few weeks later! I think you can put them together tonight however check your male pigs wound is fully recovered. Good Luck bonding them!

Look at him, what a stunner  I am sooooooo soooooo excited for you. Had to wait ages for photo to load as on train and slow net connection! Please keep us updated on how it goes X

Oh what a lovely herd og guinea pigs ... Hope the bonding goes well.

The water bottles are in now, so the bowl has been removed.

It is hilarious watching them. I might keep them in the pen overnight.

There are periods of calm munching, scratching, yawning and washing followed by spurts of chasing and teeth chattering. Snowy has tried to mount every one of them, without much success. He still has a go every so often.

Can't see a day matters! Good luck

Yes, nothing out of the ordinary. This is my third bonding, and the first one where a pig has tried to mount others. But I wouldn't spect anything different from a boar.

Well if it helps I am on tenterhooks for you - we need someone to do a live stream bonding! :))
I was totally rubbish when I did mine - I sat on the edge of the sofa wearing oven gloves for 2 hours!
You are clearly an old hand

I watch them intently for the first hour just in case there is a fight and just let them get on with it for the rest of the time. I still won't leave the house, and there are no excess noise from the telly or washing machine. I have been totally relaxed with this bonding. Occasionally I have given them greens and all of them still wheek every time a packet rustles.

I found bonding girls far more stressful than this bonding, yet it is the first one my partner has sat through. I kicked him out of the house for the others as he couldn't cope with them. Now he thinks that he is experienced.
