It's been 3 weeks since Hermes was neutered now. His wounds healed nicely apart from one tiny bit of stitching that didnt dissolve, so will be seeing the vet about that tomorrow.

However, he has been *very* quiet the past few weeks. I know he may have been in shock a bit, but he isn't even squeaking for his veggies, when normally hearing the girls would set him off. He seems to be eating well, eats all his veg, wolfs down his pellets, comes out for hay and water when he thinks nobody is looking. He also used to put up a fight when you tried to get him out of the cage, as in kick your hand away etc, but now he just sits there and lets you. I know neutering doesn't alter a piggies behaviour or whatever, but it really seems like his whole character has changed.

My main concern though is his weight. He seems to be losing it steadily since the op, and is at about 40g loss now. Like I say, he's eating fine and all, but I can't help but worry.

get him to the vet, he may have an infection. check out guinealynx and cavyspirit
