i got some barcarbonate of soda/baking soda crystals to help with my washing and washing up. do you think it would be good to use as a soak for piggies bottles and food bowls? i ask as most my bottles seem to leak so i need to get a new set, but was thinking if i get two sets and another set of bowls, maybe i could soak them overnight in cool water with barcarbonate of soda in, then rinse them out and refill, then put the other set in to soak. what does anyone think?

anyone? i forgot to say i'd put washing up liquid in too and thoroughly rinse it out with warm water

I personally don't see the need to soak them claire, i wash my bowls with washing up liquid & rinse, my bottles i clean the same way & if i've given them a bottle with probiotic in i use rice to get rid of the green residue it leaves. If you're wanting to sterilise them, baby sterilising fluid is great for the job :)

thats it, i want to sterilise them! cant be too careful!

Baby bottle brushes do a great job. Wouldn't be without them, they scrub them up perfectly. Savic also do a bottle brush for animal bottles.

I use milton and have a bottle washer. Word of warning I bought a general baby bottle cleaner and I managed to get it stuck. Bottle and washer were a right off (saves me right trying to save money)

I have a savic one now and that works on all the different brands of water bottle i have. Worth spending the extra £1 to start with. They have them in P@H

yeah I use one from P@H and its great as has two sizes which helps with the spout bit (my spout comes off as a savic one)
