Power outage in heat

Hello everyone, my power was just knocked out due to a tornado. I moved my pets to the basement. 1. For safety 2. It's the coolest place in my house right now. I don't know how long the power is going to be on and off for. What are some ways to keep piggies cool without ac?

Sorry to hear this, it sounds stressful. Have you got anything frozen you could put in a sock and put near them? They may choose to rest on or near it if they’re hot. Hope you’re all ok.

Dab their ears with some moist cotton and let them stand for a little bit on damp tissue. Ceramic surfaces such as dinner plates may be cooler than fleece. Feeding dampened lettuce and cucumber, and gently working small amounts of water into the coat may help. Don't do anything to extreme all at once. No swimming. I hope things work out OK
