Well, dexter is booked in to be neutered tomorrow as he is a loan boar and very keen to meet pancake (my newly lone sow)

I am sooooo nervous, I have done months of research however I just feel really jittery!
Any have experience of neutering etc?

No experience, just wanted to wish you luck xx

Oh wow that was quick! Good luck handsome boy. I can understand you are worried and my thoughts will be with you tomorrow.

Thanks! I've been researching it for months but since we lost Izzy I believe it's the right
Thing to do! Dexter is currently snuggled on my lap having mummy cuddles!

Hope today goes well x

dropped little man off at 9am and went through everything with the vet as well as a quick medical once over, the vet explained he would do a full health check before the op.

I'm in work and i am a nervous wreck! thankfully i have a very busy job (on lunch now) so not much time to dwell i just hope my gorgeous boy is ok!

He is home and you would never know he even had surgery today! Eating just fine but won't settle!

hiya

Dexter has just been to the vets for his pre-op check and my OH called me as he took him to say he is a little swollen and has been given a course of antibiotics.

other than that he is ok although a little withdrawn. eating and drinking fine but keeps burying himself in a towel i have given him. its his new favourite thing!

fingers crossed for a speedt recovery!

My brave boy.....
