pregnancy and guinea pigs

I have just found out that i am pregnant and i have been reading alot and i found that need to keep away from cat litters. Does anyone know if my guinea pigs can pass anything onto me that might harm my baby?
 
You'll be fine. I spoke to both my GP and obstetrician about this and both said that they aren't a problem like dogs or cats because of their herbivorous diet. Just wear gloves when cleaning them or get someone else to do it if you're not comfortable with it.

It's totally an individual thing - I had help on standby in case cleaning them out became difficult. I ended up only needing help holding the bin bag open. I actually cleaned them out while in early labour ;D.

Oh... and... congratulations! When are you due?
