Is it true that a female guinea pig can die from getting pregnant after turning 1 year old?
 
Any guinea pig runs the risk of complications from pregnancy regardless of age. This is one of the reasons this community is anti intentional breeding.
 
Yes, there are a number of complications with any guinea pig giving birth which can be fatal for mum and babies. After 1 year of age a sows pelvic bones can start to fuse increasing the likelihood of babies getting stuck causing death to the pregnant pig and the pups
