soo i was reading guineapigs love apple tree branches... so i went out side and took one off and cut it into sections..

i was wondering.. if theres anything you need to do to it befor feeding it to the pigs?

i heard you not subposto boil them as it takes out all the vitamins and flavor, sorta like a carrot rolleyes lol

so do you just rinse it off? in hot or cold water?

do i need to take off the buds? or leaves later on in the year?

do i need to take off the bark?

and the big one... do i needa do anything with it other than take it off the tree and feed it to them? :red

and does it matter what branches you take? i took the small new grown ones, that are green.

thx!

Mine ate the leaves, buds, and everything haha. They loove nibbling the bark :)

Just check there's no fungus/any nasties growing, bugs, slug slime etc.
