I am now the proud owner of two piggies (long hello on introduction page)

Just wanting some tips on preparing their food.

What I am thinking. When I am preparing veggies would using a nicer dicer chopper be to smaller pieces for them? Another question is: do you mix your veggies in with your dry food or do you have a seperate bowl?

I always kept dry food in a separate bowl. Also, I didn't dice the veg small but gave quite large chunks, and only cut the carrots in half down the middle. Other people might advise differently, but that's what I did.

I do the same as above. Seperate bowls and don't cut it too small as guineas need to wear their teeth down so apart from celery (which needs to be cut quite short due to the strings) don't cut the chunks too small - make them chew and bite.

And congratulations on your new piggies - got any photos for the photo forum?

i also use seperate bowls for dry and veg however my boys like different veg chopped in different ways they like cucumber in chunks but will only eat carrots chopped smaller!

Thank you for that. They now have two bowls and lots of veggies hand chopped instead.

couldn't resist the toys too. God, I'm spending all my time on these piggies (and money). Hubby at work, DD at nursery and mummy doing housework - not. They are so gorgeous it's addictive not to be fussing them.

I will have a go at putting the photos on, I only have 3 at the mo as I was wanting to leave them in peace for a bit, but I will put those on.

Thanks for the advice.

Ok, the photos, do I just go into community tab and create an album?

I think I have done the photos, I just went through the add album as this is the only way I can see to do it.

It would only let me add 2 though? and have now been marked moderated (which I understand that they need to be approved first). Does this mean that once they are approved I can put some more on?

I have 2 separate bowls - one for dry food and another for their veg.

I chop all their veg into little cubes - I usually just put cherry tomotoes in whole and then they can play about with them too if they want.
