So, I think I am probably going to get my new little girls on Saturday xx>>>

But in the mean time, is there anything that is different about having a pair instead of just one piglet? I have a second food bowl and water bottle... should I use them?

I'm also going to have to keep a sharp eye out for suitable boxes-cum-hidey-houses. Should I have two of those as well?

Any other advice is welcome too!

My girlies seem fine sharing food bowls and a water bottle. I think general advice is to have a spare of everything so that if they do get territorial then they can each have their own, but mine don't really have the space for one of everything!

It depends on their situation............
It might be best to have two of everything just in case.
I used to have a smaller bowl of pellets and then realised this was causing hassles, Onyx loves to stand on bowl with tootsies and this means she is literally over the top of the bowl...........so now i have a bigger bowl which means she can still do this but Velvet is not having to battle with her rolleyes
It's a matter of watching and learning what they like or need :)
It's always good to have a couple of hidey's they love to swap, i have three different ones during the day and night so they can always have their own space!

sooooooooooo looking forward to pigtures drool

I think it depends on the piggies. Mine are happy to share everything including log cabins and hideys :)

I would recommend having two places so the undergirl has also a snug place to sleep - if necessary, a towel pegged to the sides and allowed to pool on the floor will do!

Expect some dominance while the girls settle into their new territory. It will be less noticeable though if your new piggies are already bonded.

Have fun! I find the last few days of waiting always the hardest.
