Does anyone know what this means? Pebbles can be just walking along as normal and all of a sudden she will press her bottom to the ground for a second, and then continue walking like normal? She doesn't do it all the time but I've seen her do it a few times!

Cookie does this often too. I was always led to believe it is marking territory too

Ohh thank you! Phew :) it looks so odd haha. Thought it was better to make sure. Silly piggies!

If you are worried, its sometimes worth having a chek around that area for any irritations, hay up bottoms etc. ...I swear it gets everywhere, even my bras?!

Thanks, I've checked and nothing is there.. I guess she is just scent marking :)

Didn't realise the girls did it as well, all my 5 boys do- YES it can get pretty pongy sometimes!

Bramble does this too, she normally does that and then a few seconds later has a little wee. Odd behaviour...

My girls do it too, particularly after the cage is cleaned. They are marking territory... apparently, once you drag your butt on it, it's yours!
